You will begin your walk in Stara Sušica, on the landscaped promenade around a pond in the deep shade of a coniferous forest. After resting on wooden benches and deckchairs by the pond, the path takes you along an asphalt road up the hill, along the once legendary Karolina road towards the oldest part of the village of Ravna Gora and the Javorova kosa peak. The road then turns into macadam, and then into a forest path, passing alternately through dense coniferous forest and meadows. After about 2 km, you will reach the first houses of the village of Vrh, the above-mentioned oldest part of Ravna Gora.

The Frankopan walkway ends at the beginning of the starting point for the Javorova kosa promenade, which further leads you to the top of the eponymous hill, where there is a panoramic lookout point, a mountain hut and the God’s Well water source at its foot, which is said to have a healing effect on the eyes.
