GDPR – Obavijest za goste

Pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) and (e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), your personal data may be collected for the lawful purpose of their processing for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject, as well as for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, such as the obligation to enable access to data.

Regulations which are in force in the Republic of Croatia stipulate that accommodation service providers in establishments registered for providing accommodation services (incl. travel agencies authorised to do so by a provider of such services) shall collect the following personal data regarding persons using their accommodation services (guests/visitors) and register them in the eVisitor system, as well as deregister them after their departure.

1) First and last names

2) Place, country and date of birth

3) Nationality

4) Type and number of ID document

5) Place of residence (domicile) and address

6) Date and time of arrival to / departure from the establishment

7) Sex

8) Basis for exemption from payment of tourist tax or for reduction of the amount of tourist tax. Data shall not be copied nor shared with third parties.
