je mnogo sakralnih objekata iz razli\u010ditih razdoblja. Jedan od njih je Kalvarija u Mrkoplju, koja ima dominiraju\u0107i polo\u017eaj na bre\u017euljku jugozapadno iznad trase Karolinske ceste i mjesta. Sastoji se od triju kri\u017eeva s bron\u010danim skulpturama. U Crkvi Majke Bo\u017eje od sedam \u017dalosti odr\u017eava se najva\u017eniji vjerski doga\u0111aj u Gorskom kotaru \u2013 Pro\u0161tenje u Mrkoplju. Tradicionalno se odr\u017eava tre\u0107u nedjelju u mjesecu rujnu kada veliki broj vjernika pohodi Mrkopalj u znak zahvalnosti i \u0161tovanja Bla\u017eene Djevice Marije.<\/p><p>U \u010cabru se nalazi Sveti\u0161te Majke Bo\u017eje Svetogorske. Nalazi se na strmom brdu 975 metara nad morem i pru\u017ea zapanjuju\u0107i pogled. Prema jednoj od legendi na Svetoj Gori je skupina pastira prona\u0161la Gospin kip pri\u010dvr\u0161\u0107en na jelu, gdje su se pastiri, dok su \u010duvali ovce, \u010desto molili. Jednog dana vidjeli su ovce kako se klanjaju Gospinom kipu te su ih poku\u0161ali potjerati. Ovce su ostale \u010dvrsto i nepomi\u010dno stajati, pa su prestra\u0161eni pastiri oti\u0161li sve ispri\u010dati \u017eupniku koji se zajedno s njima vratio i svjedo\u010dio doga\u0111aju. Nakon tog doga\u0111aja \u017eupnik je uzeo kip i odnio ga u gerovsku \u017eupnu crkvu. Vrativ\u0161i se drugi dan u crkvu, \u017eupnik je primijetio da je kip nestao, a prona\u0111en je ponovno na Svetoj Gori. To je bio znak kojim je \u017eupnik shvatio \u0161to se doga\u0111a te je odlu\u010deno da se na Svetoj Gori sagradi crkva.<br \/>Sveti\u0161te Majke Bo\u017eje Snje\u017ene nalazi se u Li\u010dkom polju. Povijest ovog sveti\u0161ta se\u017ee u 1733. godinu, kada je prema predaji 5. kolovoza pao snijeg te se dogodilo ukazanje Majke Bo\u017eje. Danas je sveti\u0161te omiljena destinacija za obilazak, kako vjernicima tako i svima ostalima. U blizini sveti\u0161ta nalazi se brdo Sveti Ivan, na kojemu je trasa kri\u017enog puta i kapelica izgra\u0111ena u \u010dast papi Ivanu Pavlu II.<\/p><p>Brod Moravice obiluju starim sakralnim objektima. Na tom podru\u010dju nalazi se ukupno 13 crkava koje predstavljaju zna\u010dajnu i bogatu kulturno-povijesnu ba\u0161tinu.
