Start your hike on a narrow road which gradually turns into a gravel road, and then into a forest path, passing alternately through meadows and thick evergreen forests. In some 2 km you will reach the Javorova kosa peak, home to a mountain hut and the “Božji studenac” (God’s Well), visited and lauded since ancient times because legend has it that it is beneficial for the eyes. Some 150 metres to the left, there is a panoramic lookout point, with views stretching all the way to the peak of the Medvednica mountain to the northeast. About five minutes of walk from the lookout point, you will see the entire Ravna Gora panorama, as well as various views of the surrounding hills.
