After only a 5-minute hike through a gorgeous forest, the path will lead you to the Jagodina stijena site. Legend has it that this steep cliff overlooking a deep gorge was once a secret rendezvous spot for Jagoda Matković from Delnice and Branko Milić, a professor from Zagreb. Their story was immortalised in a novel of the same name written by Milivoj Magdić in 1934, forever inspiring hikers to visit the area and admire the pristine beauty of the genuine love given by Jagoda and Branko to Delnice and its visitors. The story of the novel is set against the backdrop of heavenly descriptions of the nature of Gorski Kotar, which will leave you breathless. The site is fenced by a 45-metre fence for the safety of curious visitors.
