The Čabranka river source is located at the very end of the deep and narrow tail of the Kupa valley, in a crack in the towering rocks of Veliki Obrh. It can be easily and quickly accessed via a paved road and a well-marked short forest trail. The Čabranka river is known for its numerous waterfalls and rapids, as well as an abundance of salmonid fish, which means it’s a goldmine for recreational fishing and other activities, such as kayaking, cycling and hiking next to the river. Above the source of Čabranka, there is a beautiful bridge called the “Bridge of Love”, that couples must cross hand-in-hand.
